Profiles: Cloud Service Providers
Cloud computing is a model for enabling convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources (e.g., networks, servers, storage, applications, and services) that can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort or service provider interaction.
There are three primary cloud service models including:
- Software as a Service (SaaS)
- Platform as a Service (PaaS)
- Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
There is also a related model where cloud services are aggregated and sold through a broker, perhaps with value added capabilities such as integration or monitoring:
- Cloud services brokerage

Note on SaaS solutions: There are just about as many types of SaaS solutions as their are types of traditional software applications. Neovise focuses on SaaS solutions which are related to cloud computing and IT management. A number of cloud-enabling SaaS solutions can be found through the Cloud Enabling Solutions page.
